Archives
I'm using Flickr for all my up to date photographs now, as I no longer have the time to produce galleries on this site like I used to. All the old stuff is still here though, in the archives!
My Awards Much to my surprise, this website has managed to win an award or two
since I built it in February 2000.

| • Milo, Sea & Clouds
|
Here's a shot of Milo with his scooter, playing on the promenade outside Tankerton Sailing Club.

| • Face Paint
|
On 6th July it was Monty's 5th birthday, and as Raffy's 7th was only a few days earlier we had one big birthday party that Sunday, with a bouncy castle and face painter and cast of about 40 small children and assorted parents. No pressure, then. Anyway, I like this shot of Milo just after being turned into a tiger...

| • Monty
|
This was taken on the same trip to the seaside, actually on a Thursday afternoon once we'd picked the boys up from school, now I think about it. Monty is trying to look mean and serious, which works except for the lollipop stick in his mouth...

| • By The Sea
|
I took this one Sunday in June, when we went to Tankerton for a walk by the sea, and a visit to the skateboard park there. After running around for a couple of hours the boys looked forward to an ice-cream stop on the slopes overlooking the sea. A nice day!

| • The Green Machine
|
Raffy and Monty have recently had their birthdays (which are only 6 days apart) and they both got cool outdoor stuff. Here is Milo having a go on Monty's present, a Huffy Green Machine, which is great fun. I took them down to Tankerton one morning, where there is a nice flat, straight promenade by the sea, that goes on for miles.

| • English Camping
|
A typically grey and damp morning on our campsite - the boys were up early and happily whizzed around on their scooters. We were actually quite lucky with the weather that weekend, and although the nights were very rainy, it brightened up during the days. As for Raffy's facial expression here...

| • Woodland Walk
|
Another shot from our camping holiday - this was on a particularly pretty woodland path with sunlight streaming throught the leaves. On the path you can see Andy and Will trying to catch up with Jackie, who was in turn racing after Raffy, Monty and Callum. At this point the boys had decided that racing ahead along the path was a really good idea.,,

| • Boys in the Wood
|
I took Raffy, Monty and Milo camping over the bank holiday weekend at the end of May, just for a couple of nights. We went to Horam Manor, a lovely farm-based campsite near Eastbourne, and met my cousin Jackie and her family there. There were some great woodland walks to be done, and I got this shot of Monty, Raffy and their cousin Callum.

| • Poppies
|
We had a spectacular display from the poppies in our back garden this year, and I rattled off a few shots in passing to finish off a roll of film from our camping trip; I was really pleased with these shots, and surprised by how well the graininess of the colour negative film works with the soft greens of the background.
