I'm using Flickr for all my up to date photographs now, as I no longer have the time to produce galleries on this site like I used to. All the old stuff is still here though, in the archives!
My Awards
Much to my surprise, this website has managed to win an award or two since I built it in February 2000.

 • Morning by the lake...

Here's another shot from that morning walk by Westbere lake, with Raffy and Monty looking out over the water wishing they could go fishing.

 • Just hanging...

I love this picture of Monty dangling from a branch. The boys spend a lot of time in this tree chatting to their friends next door, although generally not upside down.

 • Looking for pishes...

Vanessa has been working nights at the weekends lately, so I try to take the boys out for an early morning walk to keep the house quiet. On this occasion we went along the Stour Valley Walk and stopped off to look out over Westbere Lake. Milo has a thing for fish, or 'pish' as he calls them, so he spent a good 15 minutes looking to see if he could find some to say hello to.

 • Snow Pogo

We had our usual short spell of April snow this year. The boys loved it and got to play outside as the snow fell. Sadly it didn't settle for long, but Raffy even managed to carry on pogoing despite the weather.

 • Monty up a tree...

I took this on one of the hot days in early May before the summer rains set in; I was playing around with a new toy - a chunk of 1980s heavy metal in the form of a Canon F-1N with motor drive attached, and a very wide lens that I think I will use more often. The boys have great fun hanging from this particular tree in our back garden, and using it so they can chat to the girls who live next door.

 • Cool

These days our little Monty is getting just too cool for school, and is likely to respond to a question with such gems as 'No way, Daddio!' or 'That's not my dinosaur, you dufus!'. I'm not quite sure where the quasi-seventies / mockney dialect is coming from but I expect it's got something to do with school and Sky TV...
