We brought our new baby home this afternoon. Vanessa and Artie spent a night in the hospital - the idea being so they could both have a little peace and quiet - but today Vanessa was itching to come home. Once the paediatricians had given Artie the all-clear we were off; this shot shows our family shortly after getting home. Other notable events this evening include Arthur's first bath and just afterwards managing to wee all over his Dad... priceless.

Once Artie and Vanessa were settled at the hospital, I returned home to get Raffy, Monty and Milo. They were all very excited about meeting their baby brother for the first time, so I took them to see him before they went to school and nursery. Raffy enjoyed holding him, Monty gave him some lovely cuddles and Milo very kindly gave him his yellow car to play with.

We have a new addition to our family! Vanessa gave birth to Arthur Gabriel Tobias this morning at 06:31, and both mum and baby are doing well. Artie quickly demonstrated a great pair of lungs and settled down to a feed shortly thereafter. Artie came out a little bigger than his brothers at 8lb 12oz, and Vanessa assures me she felt every ounce!
