Archives
I'm using Flickr for all my up to date photographs now, as I no longer have the time to produce galleries on this site like I used to. All the old stuff is still here though, in the archives!
My Awards Much to my surprise, this website has managed to win an award or two
since I built it in February 2000.

| • Milo is Six Days Old
|
Vanessa gives Milo a cuddle while he sleeps.
Milo is six days old today and doing well. He feeds for England now and already knows what he wants - any delay in his feeds and we all know about it! Raffy and Monty adore him and keep insisting on holding him and giving him kisses. Watch this space - we will keep updating with Milo news and pictures...

Rafferty and Monty say hello to their new baby brother...
Vanessa and Milo came home from hospital yesterday evening, and are both getting on very well. Milo slept for most of the evening and woke a few times overnight. He really started to get the hang of breastfeeding early this morning, and is becoming more alert. Raffy and Monty spent some time getting to know their new baby brother before heading off to nursery this morning.

Seagull over Lundy Island, North Devon, June 2005 Canon EOS-1Ds Mark II with EF 70-200mm f/2.8L @ 200mm (1/6sec f/22 ISO 100)
I was browsing through some pictures I took on our recent trip to Woolacombe in North Devon, when I noticed for the first time that I had actually caught the seagull in this shot as I'd been hoping - the raw file is quite low contrast and I had missed it on my first look! Levels, curves and saturation adjusted in Photoshop but otherwise a straight image.

| • Our new baby boy!
|
Milo cuddles his Mum, aged about 2 minutes
Vanessa and I are delighted to announce the birth of our new baby boy. Milo Clement Patrick Horton-Szar was born at 02.30 at the Kent & Canterbury Hospital on 24th August 2005. He weighed 7lb 9oz, and both Milo and Vanessa are very well. Our youngest son quickly worked out his priorities in life (food & boobs) and settled down for a feed followed by a kip.
Milo has a great big yawn. 02:45 on 24th August 2005
I returned home to wake up Raffy and Monty who have already seen the pictures of their new baby brother and are very excited about meeting him. Many thanks to everyone who helped us with Milo's arrival - especially Karen, our midwife and Claire for coming out in the wee hours to look after Raffy and Monty!
