Archives
I'm using Flickr for all my up to date photographs now, as I no longer have the time to produce galleries on this site like I used to. All the old stuff is still here though, in the archives!
My Awards Much to my surprise, this website has managed to win an award or two
since I built it in February 2000.

This site is well overdue for some family news, so here goes:
NEW HOUSE: We moved house on the 15th April 2004, and we haven't stopped grinning yet! Our new home has a lot more space, which was much needed as Raffy & Monty get older - at least they have their own rooms now. The garden is great too, with a lot of space and interesting things to look at. The move itself was pretty painless, and we have just about settled in now. Time to start the slow process of decorating our way around the rooms, to put our own 'stamp' on the place... We've sent our new address out to everyone we can think of, but if you haven't received anything, you can still get in touch using our mobile numbers or email.
RAFFERTY: He's nearly 3 now (big birthday party on 4th July!) and we can't believe how quickly time has flown. Raffy has become a very grown-up young man (most of the time) and can hold a proper conversation now. He loves playing with the other children in our road on his little scooter (on which he is alarmingly fast) and managed a bike with stabilizers the other day for the first time - at least we know what to get him for his birthday now! Current amusing Rafferty phrase: "I want ice-cream in a box" which means in a cone! Does taste a bit like cardboard, now I mention it...
MONTY: Will be one year old on 6th July (hence big party on the 4th); Monty is crawling everywhere and clambering over anything he can find. He walks with a push-along cart (thanks Dave & Jen) when Raffy doesn't hijack it and we think he might be walking properly in just over a month. He has 6 teeth now and says 'Da da da' a lot. Monty is a total flirt and manages amazing smiles which seem to charm everyone he meets - and he's still at that lovely stage when he's too young to be naughty! He will be christened on the 4th July, and we'll be having a big celebration at our new house afterwards, which will also be a birthday party for both Raffy and Monty - invites will be going out soon! He's also got a small operation coming up to have grommets in his ears, but is very well in himself and doing wonderfully.
VANESSA & DAN: We are both very well, and thrilled with the new house. Vanessa is still working three days a week at Canterbury hospital. Probably no big holidays this year in view of the recent move, but we might try and manage a few weeks in Portugal; Vanessa is already planning a trip with Raffy. Vanessa will also be off to Dublin in two weeks for her sister's hen weekend, which she is very much looking forward to.
DAN'S WORK: I've finished my GP training now and am established as a partner in my practice in Canterbury. Work is quite busy now, but I'm really enjoying it, and it's great to feel like I've finally arrived after so long in training. Still waiting for the brass plaque, but I'm told it's on the way...
